I was going to post a seagull, honestly I was, but after seeing all that's been posted, I need a couple of days to get the courage to post mine
In the mean time, I just read in another thread that it's not common to see hummies perched, well here is one, taken yesterday at Butterfly World.

Very nice--the diagonal works well.

It does look a bit contrasty to me, though.

Beautiful Hummer !!! Very sharp and clean for 800!!!!! The perch has some glare but you got a great bg for the BWorld !!!!!! The little guy seem to pop out of the frame !!!!

Nice going Fab!!!!! 8) 8)

Nicely done with the diagonal and soft background. Nice job placing the subject in the frame too.

Love the pose and clean bg!
Perhaps just slightly over exposed ...

A beautiful hummingbird is just fine with me. This one has a very nice BG and from what I'm told......hard to come by there. You did a great job with this little guy. The perch is a little bright but you could tone it down.

Very cute and colourful!

I am not sure if it is halo or not. I have some reservations with the -ve space above and unsure about the branch which breaks the bird into 2-halves...

Thank you for sharing.

Sweet, Fab. Killer BG. I like the bill parallel to the perch.

Fabiola:

Nice capture, I would be temted to burn the branch a little and to saturate more the gorget.

This is great. Especially the detail in that gorget. Wonderful shot.
