Male white-breasted nuthatch, photographed last winter in CT.
Things have been a little slow around here so I dug this guy up from last winter.



Canon 10D, 600mm f4 w/1.4x at ISO 200.
1/200th sec. at f8.

Nice one. With today's windchill, better to stay inside rather than try to make a new one. Even the birds seemed to sense the danger.
