Black-bellied Whistling-duck
Corpus Christi, Tx
We tried three mornings to photograph Whistling-ducks and only on the 3rd try did we get any light. I guess it made it all the more sweet for having invested that much time!

Man that is some sweet light! It was worth the wait and a nice result. I might have framed it with the duck a little more to the left.

Beautiful preening duck image. A slight crop on the left as suggested is the only thing that could help this fine image. Congrats!

Gorgeous detail, form, color and perspective on the bird whose name is well represented in the image. What makes this art as well as a very fine nature shot is the way the bird is set in the beautiful environment. CONGRATS!

Hi Cindy, This one has so much going for it where do I begin? The lighting, the pose, the composition, the duck's colors and the background. Just one nice image.

Great image Cindy just a slight move to the left.

Sweet light, great pose, razor sharp, like the oof background and the overall feel to the image. I like it a lot!!!!

Beautiful light and color. I would crop it from the bottom to just leave the reflection of the body(excluding the neck)
