10D 100-400 IS @400 1/200 f5.6 +2/3EV
Handheld, full frame

Photo taken at the zoo in Seattle. Peacocks don't move very fast but they are always moving. It's fun to follow them around and catch them with a good BG.

Excellent color and detail. I love how the background color complements the eye color. Very nice shot. :)

Not an easy bird to do, and here it has been presented perfectly, great tonal range , detail and colors, I agree that the BG is also very nice, Congrats!!! 8)

I like the comp as is and really like the closeup detail. We usually don't see closeups like this from you very often, nice one. I'll bet in the original you can see yourself in its eye if you zoom in far enough. 8)

I like it all!!!! These birds are very frustrating to photograph. I know they are slow but it seems difficult to get the pose and BG you were able to accomplish!!!!! Your patience paid off!!!!
