Taking Off in the Fog

A few weeks ago the fog was like pea soup at Anhinga trail. I managed a nice shot of this great white heron but it was too foggy for my taste (except with B&W conversion)....after post processing in photoshop and neat image, this was the end result...still has kind of a dreamy feel to it...

Canon EOS 3 w/Sigma 50-500 w/tiffen 812 warming filter; f/5.6 in Av mode; Fuji Provia 400F.

:D :D Beautiful moody image. Wish the bird was a little more to the left in the frame. But, the smooth water, reflection, BG and brightness of the bird make this a very lovely picture.

This is a beautiful, moody image. I do like the additional contrast from your image editing. A minor nit is the lit branch behind the bird, a slight distraction for me but as I said...minor. A very pleasing image!
