Far from perfect, but the best robin shot I've managed so far.
EOS 300D, ISO 100, 75-300 Lens @ 300MM, F5.6, 1/500 sec, 550EX fill flash set to minus 1 stop. PS - dSLR Tools action to correct the under exposure. Cropped. I have better exposed versions but he's not singing in them. The crop is also straining the resolution - it was cropped to about 700 pixels wide. Nevertheless, I'm happy with it as it took a lot of effort to get close enough to him and to get some sunshine on him in this quite dense woodland. |
