Bit tight on the left IMHO, but you have a stiking image nonetheless. Excellent detail in the blacks; neat thing about this bird is that there are no whites to burn out

Harvey, Looks like a Fish Crow.

Great shot with wonderful detail in the blacks. The open bill is a plus.

Excellent shot with fine exposure and good detail. I thought EAP was into ravens, not crows.

excellent shot with great detail.
I hate to be the only one to pick, but I'd clone out the white (reflection ?) bit on his right wing. It just draws my eye as it's the only white bit on the whole bird.

Ya' know I always get EAP mixed up with Brandon Lee. But then again...there's little I don't get mixed up :?

outstanding feather detail, well handled exposure and the background sky works very well. I am not bothered by the left side subject. This would be excellent for use with text in the image. Well done.

You sure got a lot out of the blacks on this one.....and like you.....I can tell it's a 1D. Great job with the open bill as well. I think I'd agree with Dave on cloning out that white patch on the wing. Nice job with this one!!
