What a perch! I agree with the others - the earthen tones are superb.

Everything about this is nice.

I take it that this was shot from the car if you used the Groofwin. Is this one of your perches?

Hey Jim, No, this was not one of my perches. I was driving around and noticed this shrike on this perch. I watched for a while and noticed that he would fly off the get something and always return back to this lookout. I was in a state park, so he was used to cars, so I just positioned the car with the sun behind me and the background behind the bird. Thanks.

Geez....I don't know if I'd recognize a shrike without the barbed wire. Excellent shot....the colors are magnificient as the perch and bird.
