 There was a Marbled Godwit that stayed both days. I spent several hours during the day trying for shots but the light was poor and he remained in a dirt area which was very unattractive. Then the sun came out in the early evening and for a brief time he ventured into a different area with beautiful water and light. I have several good shots but I liked this one best. It was definitely worth wallowing in the muck, even with the cool temperatures (52 degrees one morning). Canon 1D, 500mmL IS, 2X TC, tripod ISO 320, f/14. ss 1/640, EV -1/3 (adjusted to -2/3 in RAW) Photoshop - cropped, levels, curves, USM Lana Hays
