Canon 10D 600IS 4.0 Lens +37 mm Extension tube at f8 1/500 ISO 200
Winberley Head, Gitzo Tripod, Phoenix, Arizona.

There were so many ducks, that I concentrated in getting headshots taking advantage of the 600 and extension tube. I love this picture for the intimate flavor.

Thanks to EJ Peiker for all the instruction, very worthy the trip.

Very good portrait. I am captivated by these females. Their colours really show in late day sun.

Terrific detail! It's strange when it's easier to get headshots of ducks than to separate an entire bird from all the others. That was the case at one of the ponds for our DuckShop also. Nice shot!

A beauty you have here. I love portraits and Duckshop is as good as it gets. I spent the weekend working on mallards....should have been at Duckshop as it was 10 degrees where I'm at.
