Shooting in the early morning.

10D + 100-400L IS @ 400, from car winow
f8.0, 1/200 @iso200 flash on
crop from horizontal, curve adj., usm

I'm surprised no one has commented on this yet. It is a very nice image.
The composition, pose, light and pastel BG colors are all very nice. I would clone out the white-wash on the perch though

This is quite nice.
Only changes I'd suggest is a touch up in levels to bring the Robin out a bit and clone out the poop.

I like the background colors. I wish the angle was better so that less of the bird would have been behind the perch.

Matthew, I agree with Brian. Some tweeks in PS can give this the pop it needs. love the pose, comp and BG.

I came back and played with this. I selected the bird and opened curves. Picking the white eye dropper, I clicked on the poop and up it came. This was a quicky fix. Could be cleaner with more time.

The BG is what works for me here...I am not a fan of the perch hiding the feet and tail...Alan makes it pop, but it needs a lot more PS before that works...
