I was looking for something other than a flight shot at the Crane Pool when this specimen obliged with a little dance. I like the silhouette of the left wing as it deflects attention back on the legs and the action in the water.

A different crane shot, not that I'm not impressed with the others posted. I have not seen a wild crane yet, all the images posted, so far, are a great help on ideas, for when I do :)

I nice image with good action. Did you happen to use curves on this one? It appears that the detail in much of the plumage has been blurred or something, this happens with radical curves adjustments, but it's just a guess.

Great light!! The splash made by the right foot makes this one for me. :D
