Well if you didn't go out and get yourself a dandy shot. Fantastic pose.......love it when the "yellow" is visible. Great BG and the perch just has a little touch of color. What a great shot!!! Hope you got more goodies!!!

I'm not usually a fan of black backgrounds, but this isolates the bird and perch so well. Bravo!

Sweet!! Shows the yellow rump perfectly. I like the dark BG and inclusion of red leaves. Very nice.

Are you sure thats a yellow rump Bruce? Just kidding. That back flat on to us is the best. And what a head turn. I probably would have opted for a vertical orientation, if you have it to put back on the bottom.I say this because the straight up and down branch fights with the horizontal frame(for me its an uncomfortable tension). But this is not at all bad as is. Love the separation from the backround and the red in the leaves. In fact I wish they weren't cut off I like them so much! This is gorgeous.

Sweet image Bruce, I do wish it were mine! Love the back pattern and over the shoulder head turn. The black BG is only troublesome when the bill gets lost on it....the bill stands out nicely here.

Great Job!
