Dear all,

I think I posted this before, but I recently re-worked it with my new combo of Breezebrowser and Noise Ninja.

This was from my first day out with my first DSLR.

Cheers all,

Great shot Alister, glad to see your back in action and posting again after your bike accident. So you've given up on Neat Image now and going with Noise Ninja? Something I found with the last version of NN I was using was that selecting areas in Photoshop to apply NN to didn't really work that well. I found it introduced artifacts to the image.

This is gorgeous Alister. Very nice to see one of these in the wild- they local pet stores always seem to have some in with the finches

Nicely done. The chest patterning on these spice finches is wonderful. We have several here locally as "escaped exotics" as they are a common pet species.

First day out with first DSLR? An excellent result any way you slice it. I love the patterns and colors on these little birds. This is a great composition with a lovely, creamy background. Whatever reworking you did, it looks very nice...

A stunning pose that shows off the breast to perfection and a sweet head turn, Alister.
