After posting an image every other day for years, I can't remember what I've posted and what I haven't. Please let me know if I have posted this one before

I wish this guy was in better plumage.

Alan, I certainly can relate to not remembering what I've posted and what I haven't. I don't remember this one from you, but then again, I don't remember some of mine either. lol

I too wish that the plumage wasn't as scruffy as it is here. Perhaps a little saturation and contrast would kick this up a notch? A slight S curve in PS maybe? Doesn't suffer without it, but might look into it (could just be my laptop monitor too). Otherwise this definately up to your usual standards. Congrats! :)

A beautiful shot but it does look a bit muted based on the birds I've here in AZ. Perhaps just a touch more saturation or was this in really flat light? A wonderful image regardless.

Beautiful image, even if the subject is a bit scruffy!

Excellent colours and very good contrast between the bird's colours to the background colours, very cute bird.

Nice image, great perch. Better plumage next time! And I have no idea if you've posted it before. I only get to visit sporadically myself. :)

Sweet BG and plenty of detail, Alan. Scruffy or not, neat capture.

Very nice Alan. Contrast looks fine to me.

What's up with the broken(?) branch hanging down. You're such a perch amateur!

Alan,

It's a beautiful shot even if he isn't wearing his best feathers. Very well done.

Hey, I like the scruffy look Alan! Beautiful post of bird that I have only seen in the far far distance in South Texas! :)

P.S. It's a bit before 7 p.m. on Wed. and still nothing by the feeder....... :(

Nice as usual, Alan. I like the perch. The red and green colors compliment each other well.
