A recent image from Osceola County. I had enough time to set up a tripod and stack teleconverters and since they were preening, I upped the ISO to 800 to avoid blurring the head movement.

20D, 600IS, 1.4x, 2.0x, ISO 800, f14, 1/500, EV -2/3, crop from left only, no flash employed.

Comments and reposts welcome.

Well done Jim. Hopefully someday I'll have the chance to see these wonderful birds, photographing them would be the icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing.

Obviously, when used right the stacked combination can work well and this is proof. Nice shot.

Unusual photo opportunity and you made the most of it. Ideal background and perch. Nice catch.

Nice shot with stacked teleconverters on a 20D, no less! What sort of succes rate do you have with manual focus on the 20D?
