Magnificent Frigatebird that is...

Coming in for a landing at a rookery island just off the coast here. Probably about 200+ Magnicents were hanging out there this morning waiting for the thermals to start up.

I like it, Jason. I've never been fortunate enough to get one of these.

Nice flight shape, and good detail. Love the dangling feet.

Thanks everyone. They hang out on a couple of different islands around the Tampa Bay area that you can only get to by boat.

A wonderful shot, Jason!
If anything I wished the head didn't merge with the wing ...

Super shot, Jason. He has a very un-magnificent look to him. Looks like he just got out of the bathtub. :D

Good one Jason. 8)

I finally got a decent shot of one (all black) with detail instead of the usual silhouette and was going to post it. No reason now since this is a definitive shot. :x :)
