A few days ago I posted a juvenile Stonechat. This is daddy. The whole family came chatting around while we were photographing Bee Eaters.

Really good strong colours & pose here, and lovely oof bg.

Would crop the top off to strengthen the composition, other than that a fantastic image.

Very sweet. I do agree with suggested crop to make it even better.

I'm not the best with this, but maybe a little fill to bring out the eye and allow a catch light. Other then that, great perch and BG.

Excellent, Hillebrand. Lovely BG. I agree with a crop on top and slight enhancement of the catchlight.

Very sweet! I'd pump up the catchlight just a bit.

Very nice bird with a simple clean background. The eye thing happens here with our chicadees and their black cap that obscures the eye. So I agree with the crop and the catchlight but I really like this image as it stands now.

Hi Hillebrand,

Very nice shot of a handsome guy. I too would cut a bit off the top.

Nice image but I'd like to see a little more detail in the face. I appreciate that is a big ask with a black faced bird.
