Pano crop, USM and saturation in PS - full frame horizontal.

Another from the ICF (captive) - this time the cranes would walk back behind this stand of grasses - and peer at us through the stems. Switched to manual focus to get the bird in focus, and not catch the grass.

Cheers,

Matt,

A very appropriate title. This works since the eye is sharp.

Matt,

This is a great "Out-of-the-Box" shot. The low angle and showing just enough information for the viewer to know what is in there are excellent.

A very good example of creative thinking. :)

I love the concept. That eye really POPS! For my taste there's a little too much room in front and in back. I'd take off 75 pixels from each side and get it down to 650 wide. That's my personally preference, I'm sure others would disagree.

Just a matter of personal taste.

Nice shot....and good thinking. I haven't developed an "out of the box" way of thinking yet and I'd have probably walked away from this one. You've made me rethink a few things....thanks.

A very unique shot. I really like this a lot. Seeing the eye so sharply still keeps me connected with the bird as it blends into the environment. The pano crop is great here!

Matt,

A nice habitat shot, the sharp yellow eye and touch of blue compliment the BG.

Nicely implemented. I've gotten my share of image through things but I've never gotten them to look this nice. :)
