A cattle egret, Ardea ibis coromanda, in the Melbourne Zoo's Great Aviary, back in July this year.

The exposure and composition are excellent. I really like how the perch originates from the lower-right-corner.

I love the way the background looks like yellow flames. The bird's pose and feet are wonderful. I think this image is great!
