A non-flight shot for a change ...

I was surprised to spot five Little Ringed Plovers when I was about to call it a day yesterday morning. I inched slowly towards these guys with a low body profile hoping that they would still be there when I was reasonably close. This is one of the many shots I took then.

Not only do you soar like superman with the 10D in the air....you also grovel in the dirt like the rest of us mortals. Nice shot of a little guy that usually doesn't stay still for more than a fraction of a second.

KK,

Not too shabby for a flight photographer. I still expect to see a flight image of him. Fine image.

KK,

Very nice shot. The low angle makes this intimate.

Lovely - the softness of the pastels here show beautifully the delicate structure and features of this sweet bird.
