Curve-billed Thrasher, Tucson AZ
Image
I might have tittled this Dirty-billed Thrasher as apparently they were using mud as part of their nest construction. I liked catching him in the middle of typical Curve-billed habitat.

NIce job in getting the Thrasher to stand out in the busy BG, Steve.

Very nice habitat shoot. Bit busy BG for my taste, but that's where they hang out?

Though busy, the Bg does not detract from the bird a great deal. Nice image.

I like it the way it is. The bird's eye is distinct and my focus is on that. The background is blurred enough to make the overall image interesting.

Well done!

Steve, I have many shot of this species, and hardly any with a clean bill. A nice setting here, although the Bg is a bit busy.

Nice one Steve. I'd prefer a cleaner BG though personally, and i'm usually one who likes habitat images.

One of my favorite birds! I like the inclusion of the habitat. They usually are in cluttery places.
