Nice Backlit image, I would have liked the bird to be below or above the transition line between the water and the shore, Still very nice!! I like it!!

I'm not usually a huge fan of backlit shots but I think this works very nicely! Perfect for this weeks Motif.

I've been told be a few that I need to watch my edges in shots like this. If you scan around the edges in this you'll notice a few things that probably shouldn't be there or might make the image look better if they weren't there. Also, the horizontal blade of grass is distracting to me. Still these are mostly nits to make you think about the image some more. You did get a very nice grab shot. :)

I like this silhouette and the warm tones together with the placement of the bird and the crop. Very nice image.
