Beautifully done E.J. I know you don't like to remove catchlights, and I know you know this was going to come up, but I think it would look better with one, imo.

Alan, the shot did not have any flash used on it so the two catch lights are naturally occurring.

Man, this is awesome E.J. The open bill suits the bird perfectly, along w/ that hairdo. The BG could not be better.

An intersting shot, EJ!
Somehow I find the head not as sharp especially the eye ring and the upper beak. Was softness due to focusing or shallow dof?! :?:

Wow, what a bird. So many unique characteristics to study, love the eye-ring! A kind of pseudo s-curve from the breast to the top of the head. Cool portrait.
