I have been experimenting with various motion techniques for quite a while now, and I am now able to produce the desired effect with a high degree of consistency.

A lovely ethereal effect. I do love the blurring in the wings and legs implying movement, but personally, in this case, I would prefer to see the head just a tad sharper. Just the right shade of background to set off the egret`s whiteness nicely. Overall, a pleasing image.
