This was taken on my recent trip to the Texas Rio Grande Valley, from behind a camo tarp under the front of my 5th wheel trailer in Falcon State Park near Roma, Tx.

David, this is just plain awesome! You don't need all the empty space on the right, IMO.

Good looking plumage on this male. I agee it's a bit centered. Would also make a good vertical.

Here it is done as a vertical, cropping and such is not my forte.

Agreed on the vertical. I think I would have preferred a little more DOF to get the tail sharper.

Vertical brought it out very well. Very nice shot. agree about the DOf but, then, I am not one to talk :oops:
