These guys are very small and hyperactive, but I love the upside down poses they adopt.

Georgeous Cindy. The inclusion of the OOf pine adds a lot!

Cindy, this is fantastic. Classic nuthatch pose here. I guess I'm going to have to work harder on my Red-breasteds. This is some good motivation. Great work.

Very nice Cindy, these guys are really hard to shoot, I've tried. Love the habitat inclusion.

Great shot of one of these guys in their typical pose.

We had one of these guys up north that never sat still for more than a few seconds. Very nice image.

Love it; looks almost oversharp on my LCD monitor.
4 down, 2 to go.

Very nice Cindy. I like the diagonal created by the bird's body and the slight head turn. :)

Looks a bit contrasty to me, but this monitor isn't the best...

Still that's a great shot--I love the background, inucluding the OOF needles which complement the bird without distracting.

Great shot. Looks like you had some harsh light to deal with and did a great job.

The light is not bad at all considering this was taken almost 4 hours after sunrise at 10,600 feet.
