...let's try some extereme crop!
Velvet-fronted Nuthatch Sitta frontalis Tai Po Kau, Dec-11-2004. EOS 10D, EF500mm f/4 L IS USM, EF1.4x II, f/8, ISO200, manual exposure, 550EX manual, BB, tripod, camera RAW, PS7, level and saturate, Noise Ninja, 25% of original. The problems with photographing nutchaches are: 1. They are small; 2. They are fast-moving; 3. They have enormous tendencies towards hugging to tree trunks all the time so it is almost impossible to "seperate" them from background 4. Worst, they like to stay high up. So this time I consider myself very lucky for this brave little fellow stayed near eye-level most of the time. And this is also the first I use AI Servo to track them, with some success. I tried such crop to see how far I could go. Thanks for viewing and please comment bruntly! Griffin - going to sleep... Griffin.
