.....I'll moider ya!

Shot out my open back bedroom window last year. A quick and strong snow hit us on April 7th here in NY and caught some of the migratory returnees without their long johns!

D100, 500mm AF-S, ISO 299, 1/125, f8, Gitzo 1548, Sidekick out the open back window.

Wonderful shot George! Love the contrast of the dark plumage with the falling now. Perfectly exposed and love that look!! 8) 8) 8) 8) :)

Excellent motif image. I like the puffed up feathers and great detail. Is this one from the 'Blackbird' slideshow you put together last year? I really enjoyed that. 8)

George,

The look on his face says it all. I like both the falling snow and the snow on the bird. Excellent work with the exposure to capture all the wonderful colors in the black feathers.

You certainly had captured the mood well, George!
I would prefer a little more room at the bottom frame rather than top ... but that's just me.

George - A super shot! The snow is great and it must have really been really coming down. Well done.

I'm liking these snow images as I sit here cooking in 110 heat. Very nice!

I would like to have a little more room at the bottom. But, still a very nice image as is. The contrast between the snow, the BG, and the Grackle.
