But we are here now.
My there seems to be a lot of snow and ice still in the area. Only a few of us early birds have ventured so far into the area....The message back from the buntings indicated a slow spring but this is ridiculous it's only 5 degrees C and that wind!! I see my friends the Swans, Scaups and Canadians are over on the other side of the river. Trust you will visit again..... A slow spring it has been it even snowed a few sprinkles this morning... but this week we did get a few additional feathered friends arriving in the area. Geese are now pretty regular fly overs and the swans are in good numbers across the river. Too fast and furious to wade over today but in time the first week of really melting will be done with and water will recede. we will be out now each evening for the next two months. The McLarty's :)
