Found this guy floating on a small pond outside of Fort DeSoto, FL.

Great exposure and detail on this guy.....not easy to do. I'd only wish for a lower angle as well but I know that there are times when it just can't be done.

Usually an exposure nightmare, you've done extremely well on this moorhen, Chris. Please tell me that this was taken in overcast conditions.

Good to hear from you Sandy. This was taken around 10:00 AM on sunny morning but I waited until a small cloud passed over to help with the exposure.
