A killer capture of the Würdemann´s first cousin!!!
The long trailing black feathers here confirms this is a GBH
Otherwise they are identical, in size, weight, habitat preference and behavior!!!, Well done !!!
Congrats!!!

Going back and forth between Alex's image and yours has been a real treat. Birding instruction without having to leave the office. Although I think I would rather be out of the office

Lovely shot, Peter. Curves might punch it up a bit.

I usually avoid diacritical marks, but when I need them I use the Character Map found in System Tools on the PC.

I like this, the background is particularly appealing and sets off the bird nicely. I kind of like a little more off the top to remove the small patch of blue, then the image background is comprised of similar, moody colors.

Nicely done.

Very nice; I generally don't like head-and-neck portraits, but I like this one. I like the grey-on-grey look.

Peter,

Nice shot. The background colors complement the bird very well.

Beatiful portrait of the GBH, I love the background very much which complements the bird very nicely. If the crop that Heather suggested doesnt't work maybe clone out that little blue spot on top left.
Excellent image.

Superb portrait of this beauty Peter! Excellent for comparison with Alex's shot to show the differences.

I love the bird and BG in this image and for me the patch of blue matches the blue on the head! 8) 8) 8) 8) :)
