For those who remember the side by side images of Monday, and expressed desire to see the light version alone, I am reposting. I haven't printed out this except 4x6, but I do have a large print on order.

Unique it is. I think it might work better for me with less exposure and a head turn toward the camera. I love the high key look.

It's a little hard to tell sharpness exactly at this size, but this is one of my favorite styles of photography. I love it; it appears to be a sketch. I would certainly hang one of these on my wall if the head were as sharp as the wing, i.e., if the head matched the wing. Whether the wing were sharp or a bit softer, it most likely would not matter.

Glad to see positive reaction, I was prepared for the worst, but would have consoled myself that the Impressionists had tremendous backlash when their work appeared. Now, it's not necessary to be valiant. That's good.
