Green Heron (Butorides virescens)

Brazos Bend SP, TX

This little guy posed for me for a very short time, but just enough time to capture a few nice images.

Comments on the foreground & background appreciated.

Juan, nice pose and great used of DOF, good exposure in spite of the strong light, I would only tone down the bright OOF BG objects as not to call attention to them, otherwise very nice!! Congrats!! 8)

I remeber this guy, Juan. The image is pretty nice as is. If you have PS CS, have you tried Shadows/Highlights adjustment to tone down the BG?

Well done, Juan.

I agree with Alex and Wayne about toning down the BG.
