Another one from last year's Warbler safari. For some reason the color is more saturated and a deeper yellow on the JPEG than the upload.

I actually like the subdued colour as presented. It is very good in my book. Did you convert to sRGB before upload?

Nicely done. I too like the somewhat subdued color.

Steve, a wonderful Mellow Yellow, a tad flat as presented, a touch of midtones would solve this problem and a tad more USM, Congrats!! 8)

Nicely done image. as for the lack of contrast...did you upload as Adobe RGB? That would flatten the colors somewhat on a web image.

I don't think it's just the photo. From my experience watching and trying to photograph Wilson's, their yellow just isn't as intense as, say, that of a Yellow Warbler, or certainly not like that of a Prothonotary.

Nice pose. Great habitat setting. Consider cloning out the small branch on the Wilson's upper breast.

Excellent image of this warbler. It just needs a bit of levels adjustment to make it really pop. Just adjust the black point over to the edge of the curve.
