Mid season, mid July for us, the plovers are usually plentiful and the young chicks hatch and are busy scurrying about. We have a couple of spots where we will get a flock of 10-12 pairs of S/Plovers nesting. On one of our visits we encountered 15 chicks all running about under Mother's watchful eye.
One of Karen's Canon 1D 500 with 1.4 X ISO 250 F8 @ 1/400 This is a fairly heavy crop aprox 50 % off top and bottom. A little F/flash would have helped as well and we now have the BBeamers to do that with this year. Comment welcome. The McLarty's :)
