Chiloe Wigeon

EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 + 1.4TC, ISO 400, F8

On this particular day a really cold wind was cutting across the surface of the water, making all sorts of patterns and reflecting a mix of the steel grey/blue sky.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

:D :D :D Excellent image Carol, the bird is lovely and very well exposed. The water is just marvelous, it looks like brush strokes on canvas.

Greetings Carol, This little guy could give the Wood Duck a run for its money in the beauty department. A nice sharp, colorful image with good exposure.

Excellent shot, Carol. The hand-painted water makes this one for me. :D

A very beautiful duck. As much as the duck I like the delicate patterns in the water. Nice job capturing both.
