A reasonably large 'gator has come up out of one of the ponds covered in duckweed, and remains somewhat camouflaged. Seen at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge.

"subject distance 4.1 meters" that would be 4.1 meters too close for me

great composition and balance between the eye and the rest of the jaw. maybe just a little off the bottom?

looking into his eye makes you think he's an okay kinda guy ...but then you get to his under covering whiliy smile. :?

Noel. I like the comp on this one a lot. I would not want to be in his 'eye'.

Perfect composition really emphasizes the 'threat' in this apparently relaxed pose! 8) :)

Noel,

Keeping the eye off center is the key plus all the duck weed and low perspective. Well done.
