I was born in Victoria, British Columbia in Canada. My wife Judy and I, have lived on our wooded acre lot,on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, for over 35 years. I have worked in the field of horticulture for over 30 years and decided to go into semi-retirement in 2006.Since then,I have devoted most of my spare time to photography. My equipment now includes both my Nikon D300 and Nikon D700 , with my favorite lenses being my Nikon 300mm f4 and my Nikon 500mm f4
