I was encouraged to post this by Motif, as well as Brian's 'Shy Tufted Titmouse', earlier.

I took this early last April at the Leslie Street Spit west of Toronto. It was unusually cold and this sweetie was trying to build a nest. I got a series of shots, but this one is funny, I love the skirt and I'm not sure if it is cross legged or not.

It dropped the straw after a gust of cold wind hit us both. The blur is because of motion from the wind. Some USM and about 40% crop.

Thanks for looking and hope you get at least a giggle :)

Lots of personality here with the head turn, the little straw and the blown skirt. Nice shot Lat.

Sweet one Lat. I agree that the skirt and the straw make this. The feet being in such good focus makes this work well for the motif. :D

Beautiful image Lat and the soft focus on the face really works well here.

This is a cool shot. Reminds me of Marilyn Monroe with her dress flying up in the air....I know, shows my age!! Nice capture.

Great exposure and lovely colors, but just adore her dress, Is it a Versace ? or a Bill Blass? Reminds me of Marylin Monroe standing on the subway vent on the picture "The seven year itch"
