Great Egret Winter Park, Florida

D1x, 300f4, 1.4x, iso 400, 1/500, f5.6, SB800, no exposure compensation, no BB, full frame

This was taken from a kayak about 45 minutes after sunset. Comments and critiques welcome.

Very nice! You caught the bird in a beautiful position. I agree with Sandy, a little levels work to brighten it up a bit would make it even better.

Now is back to the drawing board!!!
This flash is awesome indeed!!, I only wish my camera would focus at -1EV
but the D1X's lower limit is +1EV!!, Rats!!
