 California Brown Pelican, La Jolla, CA Another shot posted from my laptop..... This was taken this morning at "the clam". After standing in one spot for more than an hour, focused on a single bird and waiting for a head-throw, I gave up and moved a little closer... EOS 10D, EF 600/4 IS, 1.4TC, 1/400 @ f16, manual focus with DOF preview depressed, ISO 400, full frame Greg Downing
