Ive been playing around shooting indoors setting up a few "studioish" type shots, too cold outside  I set up a black blanket on my floor with my 10d box and a king peice from my chess board sticking out of the top. The original is pretty good but couldnt resist manipulating it in photoshop :P

Duplicated a layer, multiplied it then diffused it, erased the diffuse affect from the grey box area and chess peice, then added motion blur to white dots and then i added the lens flare. Comments welcome and appreciated!

Thanks for looking everyone,
robert................

Nice eye to put this together and interesting uses of the tools. I enjoyed it. Each element is needed, but the chess piece is the weakest of them IMO. Wish I had a suggestion of something else. You do need something like this of a different color and a distinctive shape that gives a message on its own, just that this color and piece aren't quite it, again, IMO. I do enjoy seeing your efforts. THanks for sharing. Most of my exercises have been sitting down with the kids and just having fun with the PS tools. It is a great deal of fun with them, but I'm sure not confident of the results to post, yet.

Very creative, Robert. I would like to see this with the chess piece in focus.
