ID help. (Duck, possibly Teal.)

Not a technical masterpiece, but I'm curious about what species it is. (Sigma 50-500, Sensia 100, moderate crop)

If I had to guess, based on a look at Sibley, I'd say a Blue-Winged Teal, but I'm certainly no duck expert...

This was taken in Elk Island National Park (Alberta, just east of Edmonton), in mid to late August. The nest belonged to a pair of Red Necked Grebes earlier in the summer. (See the Photo Essay here.)
