An image taken at Tomahawk Ranch, Orange Grove Tx, 30 miles west of Corpus Christi Tx 03/06/2003, 40% crop, taken from a blind.

Canon 1D, 600 f4, 1/500 sec, f/10.0, Mode: Av
Metering: Evaluative, ISO: 200, AF mode: One-shot AF
Drive: Continuous (high): frame 1, White balance: Auto
Color matrix 4: Adobe RGB, Better Beamer
Flash: External E-TTL High speed sync
Flash exp comp: -1

You nailed this one David.

The bird is great. I'd give some thought to toning down the perch to keep it from detracting from the rest of the image.

Nicely done, David. Good use of flash to balance the light on the bird against the bright background.
