White Pelican...Morning Light

The light shining on this pelican and the halo it formed lasted less than a minute.

Canon EOS 1D
Tripod
Sigma 50-500mm.
ISO 400
Evaluative Metering
Aperature Priority
F5.6 @ 1/320 Sec.

Whoa.....what killer light you have there. I had an evening experience like that on a reddish egret (my avatar). Talk about being at the right place at the right time....simply gorgeous.

Awesome light and a beautiful specimen. My only wish would be a slight head turn to the camera rather than away from it.
