This is the same ram that I posted last week, just with a different expression and pose. Canon Elan 7e, 100-400 IS, Provia 100 @ 200. Thanks for your critiques and suggestions!

Nice pose and I love the ice. Looks like it needs a little more work in levels as it appears a bit dark and lacking in contrast. tweak it and it will be a winner.

Lighten up the chap and it should be very appealing.

Thanks for the feedback. I really think I need to upgrade my eyes...

Greg, I've been trying to send you the psd file to maximize your playing fun, but it's choking my modem. I'll try again with a smaller file.

No PSD file needed although I got a little more radical with the JPG file that you did! I doubt mine is anywhere near close to the slide, and I am sure warmer. ;)

All I did was a careful levels adjustment, a boost in saturation and some USM. I probably went too far, but it's been a long day and my eyeballs are swimming...

Anyway, I love these shots. The snow really makes it. How do they get so much snow on top of their horns?

Greg, Thanks! My memories of a really cold morning create a mental block that prevent me from warming it up as much as it needed. Maybe something between what we both did is about right.

The snow was coming down pretty hard the morning of this shot, and if I remember correctly, it accumulated on the tops of their horns like snow cones. Somebody had a shot with piles on both horns. It seemed like it was falling off other parts of their bodies but not there. For the next several days, we also saw a lot with snow on their tips from grazing the grass under the snow.

Great winter shot. Love the snow peak on the horn. Great PS work by Greg, too. Love the glow you gave the horn, too. Nice BG.

Great shot Kelly. I like the colors of the second version and it still looks cold. Nice job.

I like kelly's repost as it still looks cold. The snow stack on the horn is great.

Hey Kelly,

Looks like you had a great time in Jasper. It's a blast shooting the sheep, for sure.

Good job here. I like the reposts.

Cheers
