Black Bellied Whistling Ducks

From seven down to three thanks to the marauding Crocs at Crandon!!!
They are the remnant of parents and siblings, they now tend to hang together even more than before, this is one of those moments in which they look to me as if wondering where the rest of the gang has go to!!

The three Amigos! - Poor things! I must say the one in the centre does look a little peed off with things Alex. Great shot to get all three in a one!

Indeed, I've seen this threesome become glued to one another, Alex.
Not easily approached either since the rude awakening, my friend.

Crocigators always frighten me and as I can see with good reason. Lovely pose by the three remaining.

This is a study in vigilance. These ducks are positioned to be able to see 360 degrees all around.

Sweet, sweet shot, Alex. 8) 8)

Nice Pano... maybe a bit more DOF would have helped, but you did very well here. Nice indeed!

Painterly, surreal, and intense, where many BBWD images look washed out. Great DOF. I like it a lot.

Truly a lovely shot. All the colours blend beautifully, the ducks, the water and the reflections.

Very nice grouping and composition. I can't help feeling sad about the diminishing size of the family, but such is life I guess. It does making capturing the group a more poignant moment.

Alex,

Great shot of the crew. I like the low angle and the clear view of all three faces.

Wow, unique colours or what? Those colours are amazing. Excellent job at framing this and getting perfect DOF, how'd you do that at f8? Nice job!

Really an outstanding duck image. The dark bg along with their expressions and arrangement are exceptional. Let's hope they can continue to elude the crafty crocs.

The three amigos at their best. Each showing his own unique personality with his pose. The dark BG really sets them off nicely. Exceptional image and story as always.....and with that magic eye to watch over you.

Alex, Lovely threesome. I'd suggest a silencer on your rifle so the crocs don't get any more.
