I'm surprised that you can get this close with a 300 ... BTW, do I see a very slight blue cast here?!

Very well done. I am always amazed at how well your images hold up despite the extreme crops you apply.

Thanks E.J. -- I think the 300mm f/4 D has something to do with it! I love the lens. I hope to get some flight shots with the 400mm f/3.5 soon, that is, if I can do manual focus successfully and I can handhold the lens while taking the shot. :lol:
