Congratulations!

And, oh, by the way... I claim to be the first one to register from Peru. I just got back from Machu Picchu and we fly out to Miami and then home tomorrow at 5 am.

To all who have contributed to the birth of this webb site, I say a hardy WELL DONE! It's outstanding and I am thrilled to be a member.
Already, it's my favorite. I only hope that there a few Nikon users among our members, as I know that it is quite heavily weighted toward Canon. Regardless, you have done an outstanding job and I am absolutely blown away by the images which have already been posted here. I have recently purchased a D100 and am struggling with this digital "stuff". Hopefully, I will soon be able to post some images, if I can learn how to e-mail them. Keep up the outstanding work and thank you, so much.

Hi Bill, welcome and thanks for the kind words. Rest assured there are plenty of Nikonians on the site. In fact 4 or 5 of our moderators shoot with Nikon equipment.

The "Canon" guys can be quite useful sometimes. Other times, I am left scratching my head trying to figure out what they are talking about!

Please go ahead and post any questions you have about the D100 and I'm sure we'll find someone to answer you about it. I might even be able to answer considering I have over 9100 frames taken on the D100. :D

And Welcome!
Tony

Tony,
I need a plug-in to your and E. J.'s brain which will transfer your digital knowledge into mine. I only hope that digital photography is not a young person's game. So far, it has been a struggle. I'm leaving tomorrow for a digital workshop at Bryce Canyon. Hopefully, I will absorb something there. You can count on it. I will be tapping in for some help. Thanks.

Looking forward to your building of a great new site for us nature freaks.

Congratulations on the new website, looking good already. I was wondering why it was so quiet elsewhere.....

Looking forward to watching this grow and adding my contributions ( FWIW )

Congratulations on a great site.

I have enjoyed and valued the posts of many of you on other forumns in the past and look forward to more of the same on this site. I believe you have a great team led by Greg, E.J, and Heather.

I am particularly pleased that E.J is the Sr. Technical Editor as I have found his advice to be of great value in the past.

Don
